Anika Hazra is a former tropical restoration ecologist now working as a science communicator. She earned a BSc degree in Ecology from the University of Toronto and a MS degree in Ecology from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Her Master’s research focused on ant-plant interactions in experimentally restored forests in Los Tuxtlas, Mexico. Anika has previously guest-hosted the Science for the People podcast and contributed communications materials to the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society and The Biomimicry Institute.
